This official 5 piece 1968 Zambian Proof Set features native flora and fauna:
An Aardvark is on the 1 Ngwee bronze coin
A Marshall Eagle is on the 2 Ngwee bronze coin
A Morning Glory flower is on the 5 Ngwee copper-nickel coin
A Crowned Hornbill bird is on the 10 Ngwee copper-nickel-zinc coin
A Bohur Reedbuck is on the 20 Ngwee copper-nickel coin
President Kenneth Kaunda is on the obverse.
These coins were the first decimal coins issued by Zambia.
This set comes packaged in its original green British Royal Mint box. Coins are still sealed in original plastic as issued by the mint.
